Suggested to me by my friend Penny. Hope you like reading this girl :) Comment and be merry
Penelope grimanced out onto the rainy weather. The campus grounds were greyed as only a few people wondered around in this mess. She wished she had something better to do now. Her roomate Betty had left for the weekend, leaving her with the room all to herself. Not like she had any use for it, she usually met up with friends around campus but this weekend was special, the dreaded Valentines Day weekend.
Everytime around this time of the year everyone at St. Jude's college would leave campus and go onto their own little vacation with their segnificant other. It was sweet, but to those pinning away for another it was all bitter. Penelope scooted away from th window and to her laptop. Aim was up as usual, all her friends lined up in a row, all busy with their own romantic endevors. She heaved a sigh as she placed her face in her hands. All her work done for the week she cursed her ability to finish ahead of time.
Suddenly someone signed onto aim.
The status read, "Enough with this drama."
Penelope scanned the name and remembered the name. Dimitri. She melted a little at the thought of his name. He had been in her grouping for a group study the first day she came here. He was a tall Dominican guy of 20, God surly blessed this one. Nice light toned skin with dark peircing eyes, his voice melted her on the inside out. He had been her friend since, but never picked up on her longing for more. She tried being subtle, but the guy was a little preocupied. He also had a girlfriend, local queen of the campus Rhonda Hills. Penelope never knew her personally but she was many things, home reacker was not one of them. But seeing his stause she let her curiosity get the better of her.
"Hey wats up?"
Waiting a few moments she got an instant responce.
"Nuthin but the ceilin. Sittin in my room thinkin. U?"
"Same here, the weather is terrible. Thought you would have left bein Valentines day an all."
"Me and Rhonda had another fight. God Im so sick of her and her bitch fits. She swears the world revolves around her and her tantrums. Like the world is supposed to stop all cause of her."
"Im sorry to hear that. Maybe it takes time to grow out of it. College is the place for that."
Penelope tried to sound as nurturing as she could. But she had seen the famouse Rhonda explosions and they were rivalry to Hurrican Katrina. Nothing and no one would be able to stop her rampages.
"Yea, she is so use to it. Maybe here she will get over herself and see it. But how r u? No Valentines day celebration?"
"Hahahaha like any guy would be in their right mind!"
":/ You are beautiful Penelope. Any guy would be lucky to have you."
"Point me in the right direction and I will prove you wrong lol."
She knew he meant well but it was kind of obvious she wasnt the kind of girl guys looked for. They looked for the popular chick with the good smile and always laughs. The sweet ones with the body to match or the brainy one. She was average on all front in her eyes, but then again she was her worst critique.
"I know you would be perfect for a guy out there. Just not any of these, there mostly looking for one thing."
"Lol and wat does this make you???"
"....A guy with to much on his mind."
"ROFL"
He always had a knack for making her laugh, she smiled to herself.
"You are and watch one day your gonna look back and laugh at these idiots at school."
":)"
"Thats why I love you, your like a lil sister to me, and Idk wat Id do without you."
She stopped for a moment and looked at that line. Her heart skipped a beat but at the same time it fell. A sister and love what a horrible combination. Her thoughts of him fleeted in that instant. She sighed and kept the conversation going. He was her friend and thats all that mattered now. She would find someone someday, but for now it couldnt hurt to dream

Looking back
Requested to me by my friend Marlon. Hope I do your request proud!
His name was Justin Blair, and today was Spring Cleaning. He sifted threw the boxes around him. He and his son Eric had taken them down from the attic to find what they could throw out. "Remember no junk, real things to keep." Grace, his wife ordered before she left him. Justin barely remembered half the things in these old faded boxes. Some where old pictures that he had picked the best of the bunch.
After going threw a few dozen others he was left with the last one. Knealing down he examined the old faded date on the top.
"St. Dorians High School Class of 1989"
The name itself took him back. Working his fingers around the ancient tape he popped open the old flaps and looked inside at what he had packed away over a decade ago.
Pictures of his close friends Douglas Shaw and Benny Reads, a few trophys he's won for music back then. He mused at the framed photo of him and Grace when they first started going out. Who would have thought this would be in their sights when he was 16?
March 14th 1988
The sun beat down on the New York pavement like there was no tomorrow. Justin hicked up his bag and kept walking. Woke up late, missed the bus, no breakfast or money for food already it was looking as if he wasnt gonna be a good day. Finally getting to the double doors of St. Dorians he heaved a sigh of releif.
But just so had it luck was against him on all fronts today, Paul Langdon seemingly walked past the doors. Him and his crew were a bunch of jocks that thought they ran the school, meanwhile they havent won a game in almost 2 years.
"A lil band geek I see." He sneered letting Justin walk in a little and towards the stairs. It was like this every single day. Pauls teamates blocked the door while he stood at his only exit, let the game begin.
"Whats a matter Blair? No time for chit chat?" Pauls team laughed as if he had something funny. Justin just rolled his eyes and tried to side step, already knowing what was going to happen.
"Oh no way. You know the fee. You have to pay the toll booth to pass." His buddies laughed again as he put his arm up an extended his other hand to Justin. "I dont have any money Paul. Please today can we just skip it?"
"Nah, you know the fee. If you dont have the toll you dont pass." The halls were to hot, he was late, starving and already this was gonna start. "Let me threw already!" Pushing restricting arm made him loose balance. Before he knew it Paul was face down on the steps, not laughing to much anymore.
"You are so dead!" Leaping to his feet Paul's huge size of 6'3'' trumped Justins meger 5'3''. Yanmking him and slamming him against the wall all Justin could feel was his heart in his ribcage and Pauls hot breath raging aginst him in anger. Teamates woopped and hollered at their star quarterback. Justin wished he could just fastforward, shutting his eyes before Paul's fist collided with his stomach

Justin gimanced at the yearbook. Looking at the clock on his home office desk he realized he was looking threw it for almost an hour. He remembered that day so well. Turning the page he saw his tryout to a Music school. That fight had happened that day, he brought home a full scholarship, 2 black eyes and a grin. It was the beginning of a great start. Senior year was so much better. His college course was set, he met his future wife and he took in his mistakes from junior year on.
"Justin, are you finished yet?" Grace streamed as he smiled at her. Her lonmg red hair seemed to fan around her shoulders like a halo. Framing her tanned skin and light yellow sundress she smiled back. "What are you looking at there?" He grinned just some old memories.
He had all he wanted now, back from that scrawney little kid he was. Justin picked up the box and lugged it downstairs taking out his memorobelia. Placing the yearbook carefully on his desk for later, he managed to steal a kiss from his wife as they walked downstairs.
His name was Justin Blair, and it was Spring Cleaning. He had his wife and their home on the upper east side. He had a job he loved and 2 kids he adored. His heart swelled with pride on all this and couldnt imagine his life without his loved ones. He sometimes still felt like that little Junior being picked on by those who thought they were entitled to it, but he knew better now.

Vodka and Blood
She took a sip out of the elegant martini glass in her hand. Looked around and smiled with the satisfaction that her handy work. 12 vampire hunters hung from the ceiling, their throats slit, not an single drop of blood was spilt. Beatrice felt a smug smile creep across her lips, exposing her thin fangs. They thought they could ambuse her, the fools.
Walking into her den was a huge mistake. She had made her home in New York about 30 years ago, changing her apartment every few years. Now in Manhattan she could be amongst all the other blood sucking socialite. Other vamps existed out here, but she liked to keep a low profile no matter the cost. Now in her 4 bedroom loft her late night snacks were her only company now. She took home men, sometimes women, never really having a preferance who she drank from. Had a little drink from, but they were so rilled up they hardly ever noticed. She licked her lips as she got up from her 18th century Victorian style armchair and over to her closet and opened it.
"Now, what am I to do with you?" She smiled, her ice blue eyes zeroing on the young man in her closet. Bound and gagged she had bitten him and found his blood special to her taste, saving him for later. His blonde long hair fell across his slightly bruised face as fear struck his features. She coudnt help but chuckle as she reached for him, dragging him out with pure strength. His road tore a little as she took him across the floor and to the couch. "Did you really think that I wouldnt see you and your little friends coming?" She asked her voice as sharp as razor blades. He winced at her voice, she laughed fully at his distress. Taking his face in her palm she leaned over to face him. His stricken brown eyes pleaded up at her, but she sneered.
"Your cute though. So I'll give you chance." Pulling the gag out of his mouth she pinched his face. "Why were you and those simpletons in my home?" She smiled. He looked to her for a moment and in a second he changed. Before she could look away he spat on her.
Backing away and lossing balance he lundged from the couch. He had managed to work free of his restraits and lunged forward, pinning her to the floor. Beatrice snarled for a moment but felt a peircing pain slice threw her. The man abover her smiled as he looked down at her, rising to full height. She found that she couldnt stand. Looking down her body she saw it.
A slender cross protruding from her black blouse encrusted in ruby jewels.
Her mouth formed in shock as her once capotor smiled below at her. "Its been a long time Beatrice." he smiled
